Innovation is all the rage in business, and rightfully so as it is sorely needed. Research and articles abound on innovative organizations and the world’s great innovators. But can individuals become more innovative?

Executive coaches Edie Heilman and Tawny Lees will be sharing their leadership coaching techniques for developing innovators. Join them to learn how to increase your innovativeness and how to unlock the innovative potential in others through coaching conversations. Come away with new, personal perspectives on innovation and a highly practical model that you can put into practice immediately.

They will talk briefly about the context for innovation but the majority of the evening will be spent learning and practicing coaching techniques that can unlock your and others’ potential for greater innovativeness.

About Edie and Tawny:
Edie Heilman
, M.B.A., is the Principal of Sequoia Leadership Consulting and a Senior Leadership Coach for Mariposa Leadership, Inc. A former company President and Fortune 500 senior executive, Edie has over 25 years of proven success in developing professionals, building teams and refocusing organizations, making them adaptable and resilient while achieving exceptional results.

Edie’s coaching clients include leaders in such firms as Cisco, Gilead Sciences, NASA, Citibank, and Charles Schwab as well as large non-profit organizations.

Edie earned her BA at Stanford University and her MBA at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. She completed coaching and related training at Executive Coach Academy, Coaches Training Institute, New Ventures West and MIT’s Center for Organizational Learning.

Tawny Lees, M.B.A., is COO and Senior Leadership Coach for Mariposa Leadership, Inc. After 18 years of corporate senior leadership experience, Tawny turned her passion for excellence toward working with individuals and small teams in a broad array of companies – coaching successful leaders and teams to even higher levels of performance and engagement.

Her coaching clients have included leaders in firms such as Yahoo!, Facebook, Ask, Bebo, Theravance, Analog Devices, University of California at Berkeley, Citrix Systems, and others.

Tawny earned her B.S. in Finance and Economics at C.S.U. Hayward, and her M.B.A. at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. She also has a coaching certification from John F. Kennedy University.
