The East Bay Chapter of the Haas Alumni Network and the Berkeley SkyDeck are proud to invite Scott Kucirek (Haas MBA ’99) to share his start-up stories.

About Scott Kucirek (Haas MBA ’99)
Scott is a serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of start-up experience. For the last two and a half years, Scott co-founded and has been the CEO of OCHO Candy (organic chocolate candy bars) where he oversees operations, employees, online marketing, accounting and retail relationships. In 1999 Scott co-founded ZipRealty, Inc. (ZIPR, NASDAQ), and grew the company from a two person start-up to a top ten national real estate brokerage, raising over $40 million in venture capital while working in a variety of leadership roles.

Scott also started and led a statewide Multiple Listing Service (MLS) initiative, calREDD, to a successful launch and eventual acquisition, creating the largest MLS entity in the country. Scott holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business (1999) and a B.S. in Bio-engineering from U.C. Berkeley (1988) and is married with two daughters.
