You are invited to join the East Bay Chapter of the Haas Alumni Network for the 32nd Annual Newark Mile 4k (2.5 mile) fun run and walk.  Paid registration will earn you entry into the race, a Newark Mile t-shirt (while supplies last), a finisher medal, and entry into the race raffle.

The Newark Mile 4k kicks off the Saturday of the Newark Days Celebration which also includes a parade, stage shows (live performances), carnival, car show, arts/trade show, and over 20 food booths.  All of these events are free to enter.

CXC4L is proud to announce that we will be hosting the Newark Mile for our 7th year! As usual, the race will be taking place along its traditional 2.5 mile (4km) course along the Newark Days parade route. We are pleased to be hosting the 32nd consecutive running of this local Newark favorite in partnership with the Newark Days Celebration!

• Time: 9:00 am (7:00 am – 8:30 am for registration/check-in)
• Place: Newark Community Center, 35501 Cedar Blvd., Newark, CA
• Distance: 2.5 miles (4 km)
• Fee: $15 Pre-Register (Includes free race T-shirt!)

Runner check-in and race day registration are open from 7:00 am to 8:30 am at the Clerk of the Course located in the grass in front of the Newark Community Center near the intersection of Cedar Blvd. and Chapman Dr. Upon registering or checking in, you will receive your bib, bib safety pins, and your official Newark Mile T-shirt. The race will begin and end on Cedar Blvd. at the Chapman Dr. intersection.

The Clerk of the Course will close check-ins and registration promptly at 8:30 am SHARP. Please help us maintain the Newark Days schedule by registering before race day ($5 discount from race day cost!)

WARNING: Cedar and Newark Blvds. will NOT be completely closed to traffic before the beginning of the race. Race participants are advised to use sidewalks and Newark Community Park to complete warmups. Again, PLEASE keep your running off the streets before the race, so we can ensure the Newark Mile will be able to stay there for years to come! Thank you!
