Wildflower Hike on Mount Diablo – 5/21/11

You are cordially invited to join fellow Haas Alums from the East Bay for a gentle hike around the summit of Mount Diablo to see the views and magnificent spring flowers. This will be a docent led hike, hosted by Docent Phil Reed of the Mount Diablo Interpretive Association.

Lower Summit Parking Lot
Clayton, CA 94517

Parking & Directions:

Meet at the Lower Summit Parking Lot near the summit of Mount Diablo. There is a $10 per car fee for parking. To find the lot look for the “Long-Term Parking” sign just before you reach the summit. A park map may be viewed on the Mount Diablo Website.

Bring a bag lunch and beverage. Comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunscreen are advised. Families are welcome. This is not an arduous hike. RAIN CANCELS THE EVENT!
